Regional Professor: Professor Yura Larch. She studies Pokémon behaviour, namely relating to how they behave during the seasons and temperature changes.

Klondi is a vast region, located on the northwesternmost portion of the Efisgan continent. Efisga’s continent is situated northeast of the Sinnoh region and close enough to it, where in times past, the two formed a land bridge for people and pokemon to migrate on foot across the now island chains between the two. Klondi is a region in which temperatures are fluctuating, and various arguments occur whether or not the region is becoming too warm or if it’s too cold, leading to two major criminal organizations to arise with the goals of raising and lowering the temperatures of this region. Over time, this has led to dramatic changes within the region due to long-standing battles and environmental disturbances on both sides of this argument, causing pokemon to adapt in ways they normally would not have before. This Eevee is one such adaptation, having gained a Steel Type evolution, as well as others in other regions across the continent. However, all native Eevee on this continent do not share the same abilities as the rest of the world on the Efisgan continent due to these harsh adaptations.
Beginning trainers, and veterans from other regions alike, are warned to always be on guard when traversing throughout Klondi and to always go in pairs where possible outside of outer city limits for safety. The reasons for this vary, from extreme temperature and weather shifts in the mountains, to falling into cold and rushing rivers, to just being wary of dangerous pokemon in the area that can be highly territorial of their young. Many trainers have gone missing for not heeding this warning every year, most of which are cocky teenagers or arrogant tourists to the region that act as if they know better."
The largest city of the region is in ? City. ??? City is the Pokémon League branch of the government, housing the League Headquarters.
Beginning trainers are given one of three Starters from Professor Larch in ??? town:
Cuboo. Grass Type. "Cuboo cherishes the bamboo stalk it carries dearly; if it loses it, it grows extremely depressed. It uses the bamboo as a weapon, as well as a food source, whacking opponents with it before taking a bite from it moments later."
Sizzabre. Fire Type. "Sizzabre's mane is very warm to the touch. They snuggle close to their trainers and other Pokémon to help warm them up when it's cold. Their fangs can snap easily if they are not careful in battle. When this happens, they run off to find hard objects in order to sharpen them again."
Platyke. Water Type. "Platyke prefer water that is at a very low temperature; warm water makes them very uncomfortable. You can look at it fin to determine its mood. If its fin is drooping, it is either sad or sick, while it is upright when it is angry."
